For the Burnished / surface polish process we only polish the trowelled surface. Minimal material is removed and therefore major imperfections are not corrected. This is a very ‘characteristic’ look, and the concrete needs to be finished to a very high standard to achieve a consistent polish. Colour variations or slight blemishes in the surface may remain – this is the nature of the ‘Burnished’ style – a natural/raw look.
